To project depth directly to your retinas, the hardware relies on an integrated eye-tracking sensor running at 180 frames per second to trace your head movements in real time. Processing is handled by an on-board AI system-on-chip developed alongside Tencent, which converts ordinary 2D footage and game pipelines into stereo depth on the fly rather than offloading the entire computational load to your GPU.
