The key physical upgrade is that the capsule has finally dipped below the one-centimeter threshold: thickness has shrunk from 10.95 mm to 9.99 mm, with weight down to 15.5 grams. While you will hardly notice fractions of a gram on your wrist, sleeping with a slimmer profile is genuinely more comfortable—it no longer snags on bedding or tight sleeves.
The second major improvement is a display boosted to 2,000 nits. You will no longer need to cup your hand over the screen on sunny days just to check notifications or your heart rate. At the same time, engineers maintained a benchmark 21-day battery life on a single charge.
