Startup Enough Unveils a Compact 5.3-Inch Smartphone Concept

Startup Enough revealed a concept for a compact 5.3-inch smartphone featuring a flush rear camera and a replaceable battery. The project targets users tired of oversized flagships, though it currently exists only as renders ahead of a planned Kickstarter campaign.

Featuring a 5.3-inch screen and a camera that sits completely flush with the back, startup Enough has unveiled the Phone concept for anyone exhausted by 200-gram glass bricks. The display is decidedly modest—a standard IPS panel with a 1520×720 resolution—but the compact footprint easily fits in any palm. The body will use practical matte plastic, integrating a fingerprint scanner into the power button, alongside a microSD slot, 5G support, NFC for contactless payments, and eSIM profiles.

Under the hood, the creators plan to pack a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chip paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. That configuration provides plenty of headroom for messaging, navigation, banking apps, and browsing without paying for unnecessary power. There is just one rear camera, powered by the reliable Sony IMX766 sensor, built completely flush with the back cover so it will not wobble on flat surfaces. The 3,500 to 4,000 mAh battery is slated to be user-replaceable, and the device will run either stock Android or OdysseyOS, a custom minimalist skin designed to cut digital clutter.

However, this anti-flagship manifesto warrants a dose of skepticism. No working prototype has been shown publicly, and the creators have not set a retail price or concrete shipping timeline. The startup is merely preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign, making this a typical package of renders and promises. It is far too early to back the project or hand over your contact details; the smart move is to wait for verified, independent hands-on reviews with physical prototypes and a final retail price tag.
